We know, we've been neglecting our blog a little bit. But never fear, Patience has been getting together her own "writing blog" where she posts weekly short stories (#fridayflash), her drawings and a selection of poems. Catch up with her at looking-both-ways.blogspot.com . As for Daren... well maybe he'll finally post some pictures of our beautiful apartment tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteOf course it was charming even when it was filthy and neglected, some things are like that. The good things.
You can make them superficially less appealing but you can never overpower their inherent desirability because underneath, they're still magnificent.
You can clean the apartment up, add some furniture and rugs, but the really great stuff, the view, the French doors, the irregular lines, were all there from the beginning.
